Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant/Research Associate (RA) will be involved in an ethnographic and historical study that investigates the urban heat experiences and practices of Singapore households. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vetting of Indian programmes on Vasantham and mewatch to ensure adherence to IMDA TV compliance Codes
• Ensure Content Code compliance in all our acquired programme broadcasts on FTA-TV Channels and on mewatch.
• Assessment of pre-production scripts and highlighting of potential concerns in local content.
• Ability to make editorial amendments to mitigate content issues and sensitivities.
• Recommend appropriate consumer advisory ratings and scheduling suitability of programmes.

• Craft engaging synopses for FTA acquired programmes for media / press release.

The Role

Job Responsibilities

The job scope will be supporting daily treasury operations and settlement, including the following:

• Engage and manage both external (banks) and internal stakeholders (internal departments).
• Process changes to bank mandates/ internet banking, call-back and standard settlement instructions.

The Role

This position will be responsible for tax compliance and managing all tax issues for the Group in the assigned region.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the tax compliance matters and work with external consultants for Singapore and overseas jurisdictions.
• Provide advice on all tax matters including day-to-day tax planning and advisory / operational business support, review of commercial contracts and cross-border transactions, tax reporting, taxation due diligence.
• Manage tax technical support to regional and local finance teams and business units within the Group.
