Roles and Responsibilities
a) manage overall changes in relation to organizations’ need to manage and implement new ICT systems and conceptualise initiatives;
b) oversee and manage project activities for a smooth rollout of any system required by organization;
c) oversee and manage the change process for system enhancements and managing organizations’s other suppliers (including checking that they deliver their deliverables on schedule and informing organization of any delays);
d) manage application development and maintenance issues with organizations users and other suppliers;
e) manage user expectations, maintain good rapport with users and understand users’ requirements;
f) adhere to quality management system (“QMS”) and other audit requirements; and ‘
g) provide to organization status updates of application development or maintenance.
Requirements
a) a degree in computer science/information technology or related area;
b) minimum of 10 years working experience in the ICT industry;
c) IT team management experience. Have managed at least 5 ICT personnel (applications and infrastructure) for at least 5 years;
d) strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills; e) results-oriented and customer-oriented;
f) good team player with strong organisation and people management skills;
g) good competency in spoken and written English;
h) experience managing medium to large scale IT projects
The Project Manager with the following are preferred:
a) project management experience;
b) project management and IT service management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent;
c) experience with:
a. working in the public sector/Government agencies;
b. agile project development;
c. continuous integration (CI) / continuous deployment (CD);
d. use of data visualisation tools and reporting tools;
e. use of robotic process automation tools, low-code form building and reporting tools;
f. implementation of system in cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
