Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Helpdesk Manager and Team Lead in delivering a highly efficient Helpdesk service
  Ensure that cases are addressed promptly and in accordance with the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Utilize established FAQ and SOP guidelines to perform basic troubleshooting.
• Serve as the official representative for the company when communicating incidents, requests, or inquiries regarding our products to agencies, businesses, citizens, and developers. (includes LifeSG, VICA, and SG Tech Stack, among others).
• Handle cases through multiple channels, including hotlines, emails, online forms, chatbots, portals, and case management systems.
• Maintain a strong customer-centric focus, striving to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of our valued customers.
• Prepare accurate and insightful statistics and reports to provide regular updates.
  

Job Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ level, Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in IT or Technical Helpdesk industry
• IT literate and proficient in multiple IT platforms eg chatbot, tech stack, AWS clouds, etc;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
• Able to perform 12hrs rotating shift work on request

Salary range : S$3,500.00 - S$4,300.00

A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR ID Labs) is seeking for Research Officers to join us in our mission to be a leading centre of infectious diseases research. A*STAR ID Labs aims to develop a cohesive A*STAR response to drive and deliver translational infectious diseases research to better health and economic outcomes.

The laboratory headed by Dr. Marco Vignuzzi is leading cutting edge virology and antiviral and vaccine therapies. We are seeking a fast learner who can participate in multiple projects in the lab.

Job Description:

• Perform virological assays in cell culture for a wide variety of RNA pathogens, including chikungunya virus, Zika virus, dengue viruses, enteroviruses, influenza virus
• Work with mouse infection models to test antiviral therapies
• Conduct laboratory experiments in antiviral drug testing and perform data analysis for industry/research collaboration projects
• Perform meticulous recordkeeping and able to draft delivery report to industrial partners
• Oversee daily laboratory activities and help manage the lab’s routine admin duties
• Help new students and postdocs settle into the lab and transfer techniques to them
• Ensure safe technical practices and procedures
• Participate in the scientific discussions and brain-stormings of the lab
• Participate in presenting lab work in internal and external meetings

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field.
• 2 or more years of solid experimental experience
• Ability to work in molecular biology and in cell culture
• Experience with BSL-2 pathogens, and cell culture will be an asset
• General lab skills in molecular biology (cloning, PCR, RNA and DNA methods)
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and multitask
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• A strong desire to constantly learn and acquire new skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Schedule and document planned and unplanned maintenance programs for the various systems such as (not limited to) the following: Air-conditioning & electrical, lift, refrigeration, FLS equipment, building maintenance including furniture & fixtures, painting, parts renewal & repairs, kitchen and laundry equipment, low voltage (LV), guest rooms, F&B outlets, function/banquet areas, front/back of the house, plumbing & drainage
• Supervise and provide constructive feedback to all team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper preventative maintenance and repair to equipment
• Assist in the preparation of consumption reports on power, water, steam, and gas
• Ensure that maintenance & repairs performed by contractors are executed in accordance with agreed health and safety policy, contracts, fees or charges
• Review work flow and provide Chief Engineer with possible improvements to increase efficiency
• Coordinate and inform Chief Engineer of any disruptions to service of any kind.
