My client, a professional service firm specialized in accounting, corporate secretarial, tax and business support services is seeking an Accounts executive to join their team.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with bookkeeping and accounting software, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Enter financial transactions into the company's accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Preparation and filing of tax and GST return with IRAS.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for financial documents.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to internal control procedures and financial regulations.
Requirements:
• A Level or Diploma in Accounting or a related field
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping will be added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and willing to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
