Job Description
Performs the duties of assisting the department in training administration. Performs the duties of assisting the department in energy, utilities and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) conservation as outlined by the Energy Conservation Act (ECA), Carbon Pricing Acts (CPA), Public Utilities Board (PUB) and related implementing regulations.
· Learning and Training Development Needs
o Identify current knowledge gaps and future training requirements.
o Develop training plans, delivery methods, and training material and conduct training for the company to enhance the technical knowledge of the organisation.
o Ensure timely registration of internal course applications and notification of the training details.
o Coordinate and record training activities, conduct staff orientation, and evaluate training effectiveness.
· Audits and agency matters
o Participates in audits, visits and dialogues with third parties and authorities (NEA, PUB, JTC etc.)
o Assists in internal audits and assess the company’s Energy Management System, GHG verification, and related management schemes.
· Utilities and GHG emission management
o Gathers data on utilities consumptions and GHG emissions.
o Assists in the amendments of the monitoring plan, procedure, source, and stream.
o Analyzes the different consumption streams on a regular basis to look for patterns and conduct trending based on modelling methods.
o Raise awareness about the need of reducing energy usage, utility usage, GHG emissions, and water usage.
· Utilities efficiency and sustainability projects
o Assists in exploring and implementing effective utility management practices
o Assists in developing carbon neutral and/or de-carbonisation programs that supports business and environmental sustainability.
o Assists in preparing official proposals for new projects, including estimated costs and anticipated savings in energy.
o Coordinates with the other departments during project execution phases.
o Assists in monitoring both short-term and long-term programs and strategies designed to reduce utilities consumption.
Job Requirements
· Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Process Engineering is required.
· Water Efficiency Manager (WEM) certification is an advantage.
· Able to demonstrate the working ability to calculate GHG emissions based on internationally recognized methodologies.
· At least 1 year of experience in energy management, utility management, water efficiency management and GHG emissions in relevant industries.
· Prior experience working in the engineering and/or chemical industry is an advantage.

Remuneration Package
· Basic: S$3,000 to S$3,800
· Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate possess own transport
· Working hours 8am to 5pm
