JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of the Visitor Experience (VE) team responsible for fronting the retail, business and attractions operations within the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC). Responsibilities:

• Review project requirement, technical clarifications and drawings.
• Carry out M&E works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation to ensure compliance to regulatory.
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works.
• To perform safety and QA role on area assigned and to ensure safety regulations are being compiled in the building.

Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for P/L for project and timely project execution
• Conduct Project progress meetings & follow-up on timely action.
• Coordinate with the project executive all client "business" related contact/correspondence to ensure consistency of reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Report to Management and make a dash board information at point in time
• Identify the potential concerns of the project well in advance and address them in an effective manner before it is raises.
• Ensure all costs and risk updates are communicated and incorporated into the overall project reporting.
• Initiate and implement best practices, procedures and standards
• Lead, direct, assist and support construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget.

Job Summary

Responsible for management & development of technical & commercial proposals for all subsea projects and further submission to Clients

Functional Responsibilities

• To assist in developing and maintaining an estimating business process that will ensure applicability passed to the project level
• To actively participate in the management and completion of various tenders
• Review of project/bid details and discuss bid strategy with management
• Attends pre and post bid Client meetings
• To conceptualize layouts for the project and review all estimates and proposals before they are submitted
• Get the necessary management approvals on price for submission to Client

Qualifications & Experiences

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will be part of the International Business (IB) team under the Commercial Development (CD) function to support FairPrice Group's Own Brands and Food Solutions (OBFS) business unit in its growth overseas. As an Assistant Manager / Manager for IB CD, he/she will report to the Director of OBFS IB CD and will work closely with different stakeholders within the IB team as well as colleagues across OBFS, such as Brand & Business Development, Sourcing, Operations in support of IB objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the IB Team in the end-to-end development and delivery of IB business plans.
• Support the IB team in the governance and PMO of strategic initiatives including the preparation of action plans, coordination of stakeholders, control towering of execution, and follow-ups.
• Support team lead in the management of overseas business partners i.e. distributors, and vendors to ensure sharp and timely in-market executions.
• Own IB team reporting including liaisons with stakeholders to facilitate.
