Position Summary:

The AV Service Engineering and Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support, data collection, coordinating maintenance and operation activities to ensure the optimal operation of autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Level 1 Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

• Provide on-site Level 1 troubleshooting support (when activated) and debugging for technical issues encountered. Work with Level 2 support to identify, diagnose, and resolve basic configurations concerns, or minor hardware malfunctions.
• Collaborate with specialized teams or senior engineers to escalate complex issues beyond Level 1 for further analysis and resolution.
• Offer comprehensive customer support by resolving queries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Maintenance Coordination:

• Develop maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to protocols and manufacturer's guidelines for regular inspections, software updates, and component replacements.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain meticulous records of Level 1 troubleshooting procedures, data collection findings, and maintenance activities performed on the buses.
• Generate detailed reports outlining identified issues, recommended solutions, and actions taken for each maintenance task or diagnostic analysis.

Operational Coordination:

• Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to facilitate coordination between technical tasks and operational requirements.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimally a diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred
• Familiarity with Unix (Ubuntu) environment
• Good understanding of Class 4 autonomous buses equipped with SAE Level 4 autonomy, including sensor technology, control systems, and software.
• Proficiency in Level 1 troubleshooting, data collection methodologies, and coordination of maintenance activities for Class 3 and 4 vehicles and electronics equipment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

• Act as subject matter expertise in Policies, risk assessment and giving guidance on Governance for Go to market changes in various markets

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of relevant financial experience including 4+ years in managing Enterprise Risk assessment, Selling Governance and Subject matter expertise on policy consultation and associated risks
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles
• Ability to multi-task and work in an exciting fast paced environment
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve sophisticated problems
• Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's evolving Ads business runs smoothly. The team works to set go-to-market strategy, and ensure execution and operations against the strategy. The Asia Pacific Business Strategy and Operations team provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. • Lead AI for Velocity strategy and taskforce, bring efforts across external partnerships, programs, and collaborate with other teams, including DeepMind, Google Research, and Cloud.
• Drive coordination and accountability for progress against plans across key markets, as well as regional initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and build bridges across cross-functional teams to enhance the impact of project outcomes and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Work with cross-functional Strategy Operations leads to shape operational excellence for Velocity operations in the region, including elevating and sharing best practices.
• Lead strategic projects within the broader Velocity team.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience advising, partnering, and influencing senior executives.
• Experience setting strategy, leading work-streams, defining metrics, measuring results, and using data to point resources to priorities in the brand, reputation, and regulation space.
• Ability to build relationships and drive alignment and progress in collaborating with cross-functional and cross-product area stakeholders across the region.
• Ability to manage programs autonomously.
