The Sourcing Manager will lead Sustenir’s portfolio strategy in line with our Superfoods strategy. Leveraging the rich network of partners globally, the Sourcing Manager is responsible for bringing in the best that the world has to offer to expand Sustenir's portfolio of superfoods.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and oversee sourcing from strategic sources to develop new revenue streams

• Jointly develop portfolio to source with commercial team

• Develop new revenue streams through channel development for new portfolio

• Work with partner farms to ensure sourced fresh products are within pre-agreed specifications

• Ensure end-to-end supply chain of products from sourcing country into market of sales

• Inventory management of sourced products

Who you are:

· 10+ years of supply chain experience in retail or agri-technology industry

· Experience in handling fresh produce and associated quality compliance is an advantage

· Experience in managing logistics is an advantage

· Clear track record of results delivery, building winning plans and excellence in execution

· Strong analytical skills to use marketing and sales data to improve marketing performance and generate sales

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be energetic and hands-on to take on new and challenging tasks and to have worked well with very limited resources and a strong sense of accountability.

· Independent team member who is able to manage your own timelines and deliverables within tight timelines

· Ability and maturity to take decisions and make recommendations to commercial team on portfolio

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Fold and assemble boxes according to company specifications.
• Ensure boxes are clean, undamaged, and properly shaped for packing.
• Packing, carton and seal properly.
• Follow safety, BRCGS, SFA and company SOPs at all times.
• Highlight any issues to superior and seek resolutions immediately.
• Any other minor job duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and provide leadership to ensure the production of high quality, safe and legally compliant products for Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing and its subsidiaries.
2. Collaborate, guide and provide technical support to various departments including production, shipping, warehouse and maintenance department to ensure compliance to quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
3. Lead continuous improvement to meet the desired product quality, safety, regulatory and customer expectations.
4. Provide governance of the Food Safety Management System, HACCP and Halal Quality Management System and lead the development and implementation of standards in the plant.
5. Lead and manage all external audits including 3rd Party (BRC, HALAL), Customer and Regulatory (SFA) audits etc.
6. Manage all customer inquiries and ensuring timely and professional response to Customer Complaints.
7. Lead QA Team to conduct Internal Quality, GMP, Supplier and HACCP audits.
8. To be the main point of contact for Government related agencies.
9. Lead QA Team in the application of relevant regulatory licenses and export health certificate application.
10. Provide new product development support including food regulatory requirements, product evaluation and testing.
11. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Food Science or equivalent.
2. Candidate with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in the F&B manufacturing industry and minimum of 2 years managing a team.
3. Basic Computer Knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office software
4. Proficient in English and Chinese due to the daily need to work with English and Mandarin speaking staff and customers' representatives
5. Be able to work interpedently with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
6. Fast learner and able to work under pressure.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the company. This role encompasses both operational quality and supplier quality responsibilities, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, taste, and consistency. The Quality Manager will work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to implement and maintain quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and manage supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Quality Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety programs in compliance with BRCGS, FDA, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to food safety protocols throughout the production process and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular risk assessment, hazard analyses, implement preventive controls and audits of production lines, equipment, and finished products to ensure product safety.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem solving efforts for quality issues and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving teams to address complex quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with production, R&D and other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Oversee the testing, inspection and line release of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
• Conduct regular training for employees on food safety practices and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Quality Management

• Ensure that Company Policies and Quality procedures are effectively carried out.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
• Develop and implement supplier quality management programs, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.
• Work with suppliers to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and approve new suppliers based on quality standards and requirements.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality raw materials.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular feedback to suppliers.

Audit and Compliance Management:

• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, including BRCGS, FDA, halal and customer audits.
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
• Lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in response to audit findings and non-conformances.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and certification bodies to ensure ongoing compliance and certification.
• Stay current with changes in food safety regulations and standards, and implement necessary updates to the company's quality systems.

Customer Complaint Management

• Receive, document, and analyze customer complaints, ensuring all issues are logged accurately and promptly.
• Conduct thorough investigations into customer complaints, including root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolve customer complaints and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure timely resolution of complaints and maintain detailed records of complaint investigations and actions taken.
• Monitor trends in customer complaints to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives based on analysis of customer complaint data.
• Work with production, R&D, and other departments to address quality issues and enhance product quality.
• Lead regular reviews of customer complaints with senior management and relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing quality teams within the food industry, preferably in ready-to-eat snacks.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including BRCGS, FDA, HACCP, Halal and GMP
• Proven experience in managing and preparing for audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and certification organizations.
• Experience with supplier quality management and auditing.
