Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing financial operations, procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulatory requirements and company policies/guidelines. This position will cover several locations, Singapore, Shanghai and United States.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Responsible for consolidating financial statements from all subsidiaries to create a comprehensive financial report for the company.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and prepare regular financial statements and reports for management review.
• Develop and manage financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.

Procurement:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that optimize purchasing processes and minimize costs.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
• Oversee procurement activities for laboratory supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to financial practices, procurement processes, and data protection.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Serve as the point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience handling full-set account
• Proven experience in financial management, procurement, and compliance; Experience in Biotechnology industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Singapore and international financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful financial and procurement strategies.

About the Role:

The Lead Auditor will be responsible for the following:

• Perform 3rd party AS9100/9110/9120 audits for South Asia customers.
• Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure.
• Provide customers with timely, complete and accurate reports of their current level of conformity / implementation of their management system.
• Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers.
• Maintain appropriate auditor credentials / qualifications and pursue advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed.
• Contribute to the growth and development of a world-class, industry-leading auditing team.
• Conducting AS9100, AS9110 & AS9120 Foundation Training and AS Internal auditor course.
• Provide sales support when required.

About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years actual work experience in design, development and manufacturing in Aviation, Space or Defence industry and some Part 145 Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul activities.
• Currently qualified as an auditor of AS9100/9110/9120 is preferred.
• Familiar with special processes such as NDT, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Brazing & Welding, etc. will have advantage.
• Familiar with FAA, EASA, CAAS, CAAC, JCAB, DGCA, Airworthiness requirements.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• A strong attention to detail, coupled with an uncompromising dedication to ethical and professional behaviour.
• Capable of working effectively both in team environments as well as individually.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (overseas) and perform audits as required, up to 75% of the time.

This regional role based in Singapore is responsible for the management and execution of bulk freight (Air/Ocean) in countries in Asia Pacific. Your responsibilities include import/export portion for finished goods and after sales products/components routed between Original Equipment Manufacturers predominantly in China and regional Distribution Centres and Resellers in the Asia Pacific region. You will lead day-to-day operations driving excellent supply chain performance through our logistics suppliers as part of a team of passionate logistics experts. Responsibilities include:

• Drive 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) partners for operations excellence around on-time execution, losses and damage, track & trace, freight payment metrics.
• Collaborate with 3PLs for strategic initiatives around capacity management, volume fluctuations, cost savings, process/system improvements.
• Engage our freight forwarder resources to drive operations execution, shipment reporting, and timely resolution of shipment issues.
• Support of new product launch processes including finished goods and service level components. Strong analytic skill set to identify trends that will improve overall cost management and lane capacity.
• Continually review and develop logistics capabilities to ensure was are able to scale our supply chains to cover our continued growth.
• Collaborate internally across various functions to overcome supply chain uncertainty. Drive cross functional initiatives with OEM and Planning teams to optimise shipments to reduce cost and increase capacity.
• Identify and drive service improvement initiatives.
• Drive Green initiatives to reduce carbon footprint by optimising shipments and identifying alternative shipping methods.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years logistics industry experience.
• Experience and knowledge on customs (export and import) within the Asia Pacific region.
• Experienced in fast moving customer focused organisation, ideally with high tech / high value shipments.
• Seasoned vendor management skills with consistent track record in developing and leading supplier performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years logistics industry experience.
• Able to identify and drive developments and improvements to important metrics (on-time performance, cost, data quality, sustainability etc.), systems, reporting and operational processes.
