10. To provide comprehensive executive assistance support to VP Technology;

11. Providing supports to all the events, in coordinating with clients, vendors and managements level

REQUIREMENTS

1. Proficient in communications & market research, great interest in marine & offshore industry.

3. Computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point, outlook, Photoshop, WordPress, canva etc.)

Tasks

• Know the clients (owners, operators, shipyards and other branches of MAN ES) in the region, understand their business and which projects they are working on.

• Establish and maintain close client relationships and follow-up with client visits. Be the local facilitator of meetings and shape the situations according to the intercultural context.

• Identify new clients (owners, operators, shipyards) and new leads; pro-actively and systematically generate new leads in the assigned territory.

• Represent and promote MAN Energy Solutions PrimeServ Two-Stroke & Four-Stroke service and parts products and related latest solutions in the territory towards owners, operators and shipyards.

• Obtain and follow-up on enquiries and technical requests from clients, relating to engine diagnostics, inspection, overhaul, repair or re-conditioning. In conjunction with other support functions, manage attendance on board ship and/or in workshop from quotation to completion.

• Manage short attendance activities as well as longer complete Two-Stroke/Four-Stroke engine/turbocharger rebuilds.

• Interact with the appropriate HQ based teams and request support, where/when needed.

• Enter all client relevant information (e.g. contacts, leads, visit reports) into the MAN Energy Solution proprietary CRM system and keep the information up to date.

• Manage high profile key accounts with large fleets of vessels.

• Regularly gather and tabulate information regarding market trends and requirements.

• Know and share the clients’ decision-making processes.

• Know the competitors in each application and in each project and their local representatives.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineering degree (university) or equivalent technical education / degree

• 5 -10 years of experience in marine technical and/or sales department. Preferably with a maritime background.

• Verbal and written fluency in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft-Office package (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Project).

• Detailed understanding of the service business on both technical and commercial levels.

• High degree of customer orientation.

About the job

Reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth with the assigned customer accounts in the Marine Division in line with the South East Asia Sales Company targets and objectives.

In this role, you will be based in Singapore and will manage assigned customer relationship, including formulating and driving a specific customer account strategy to encompass the complete long-term relationship between Alfa Laval and the customer. 

This role is an individual contributor role and does not have team reporting to the role.

Key tasks:

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval solution in the Marine aftersales industry;
• Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader
• Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them in real business opportunities in other to ensure the pipeline.
• Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
• Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
• Develop customized proposal to meet customers’ requirement and advocate value based selling and follow through to achieve performance.
• Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.

Objective of the role

1. Work closely with the markets in SEA, HK & Taiwan to implement the approved Marketing strategy for the Elizabeth Arden brand and all the licensed Brands
2. To support and assist the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) in all areas to ensure the objectives of the Marketing Department are met.

Responsibilities

E-Commerce

• Work with RMM to review product exclusivities and mechanisms with local markets to ensure attractiveness to target audience
• Work with designer to set up product listings, shop-in-shop designs, banners, creative adaptation and ensure content are aligned with brand and promotion plan

Digital

• Work with markets on website update where necessary

Social

• Work with local markets on monthly social posting calendar
• ·Work with RMM on social content analysis and follow up with markets

PR and Influencers / Events

• Work with RMM and local markets to execute PR/influencer strategy
• Support the coordination & planning of events and other related tasks such as press kits, post event reports

Forecast Management

• To assist with the coordination and consolidation of forecasts for innovations efficiently
• To extract historical data for analysis and review with RMM

Visual Merchandising Maintenance

• To follow regional transparency and Visual Merchandising strategy and work with markets to ensure in-store excellence across all locations
