Job Overview:

• We are looking for a dedicated and motivated IT Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on a 24x7 shift rotation to ensure the continuous monitoring, support, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities (SDC Associate Engineer):

• Consistently monitor the performance and availability of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. Provide first-level troubleshooting and support for any issues that arise.
• Respond promptly to IT incidents, following established procedures and escalation protocols. Document incidents and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patch management, and system backups to ensure the integrity and security of IT systems.
• Execute daily operational tasks, including system health checks, log reviews, and performance monitoring, ensuring all tasks are completed within the defined SLAs.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users, providing timely updates on incidents and operational activities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, conducting IT operations securely and in compliance with industry standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations or Support (LAN/WAN/Systems/Cloud).
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Linux, network protocols, VMware, and IT infrastructure. Experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems is advantageous.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for information security.

The Role

This role supports the Sales General Manager and includes strategic, operational, project management responsibilities helping the Sales leadership teams to drive results, improve processes, implement change, strengthen controls, and achieve more efficient operational performance.

This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team of Moody’s Analytics (MA) to drive organisational impact and achieve strategic objectives. You will workday to with SLT of the Sales Organisation and other leaders across Moody’s. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and appreciate the value of this practical experience while applying their problem-solving skills in innovative and creative ways.

In addition, this person will facilitate collaboration and communication across the Sales organisation to ensure the successful achievement of the OU’s objectives. The Strategic Programs works in close collaboration with the wider Strategic Programs leads across the different regions to execute the strategic agenda for MA Sales, contribute to and coordinate the strategic roadmap, lead the operational cadence for the sales leadership team and serves as the bridge across MA on alignment and prioritisation of strategic corporate initiatives.

This role also supports the Sales General Manager on developing:

1. the narrative and presentation of MA strategy for internal and external purposes – e.g. townhall, SalesConnect, ManagersConnect, as well as leading key sales related projects such as managing pipeline and forecasting meetings, sales performance reviews, headcount and recruiting budget, deployment, commission and targeting activities.
2. developing and executing regional sales development programs and learning tools by defining sales processes and translating organisational goals into actionable learning plans. The Director of Sales Strategic Programs will work hand in hand with peers in other regions to align and ensure consistency at the global level.

Responsibilities

General Operations

• Support of strategic initiative across Sales and ownership of key meetings (i.e. Leadership, All Hands Meeting, Pipeline/Customer Health)
• Define organizational structure and operating model
• Manages headcount and recruiting activities with TA team
• Coordination and partnering with MCO, MA, and CIT to align on goals and successful completion of shared initiatives
• Coordinates development of wide range of meetings/materials to support the Sales OU and Sales GM, including board presentations, offsites, townhalls and other internal and external presentations (as needed).
• Assist GM of Sales in objective setting, team building and communications.
• Support Sales organization in people development and diversity and inclusion initiatives

Program Management

Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the inbound sales on orders processing, coordinating deliveries, inventory and sales orders analysis/reporting.

Specifically, you will

• Liaise with Sales to understand their needs for the products and providing them with the purchase order analysis for confirmation of purchase quantities.
• Update orders in the ERP system and place orders with the suppliers
• Liaise and follow up with supplier on shipping arrangement as well as co-ordinate with freight forwarder and manage custom clearance
• Manage the Inventory, ensuring that the physical consignment stock and records in the system are accounted for, and undertake investigation when there are discrepancies.
