A Medical Affairs Manager DC, Asia Pacific is an experienced people leader and strategic thinker that aligns country medical affairs objectives with regional and global direction to deliver on data generation, knowledge exchange/data communications and lead thought leader engagement. The MCCL develops and executes medical initiatives to support the medical strategy/medical plan and lead and develop the team of medical value partners in their country and/or cluster.

The Opportunity

• Be the trusted source of medical and scientific insights to the organization and provide medical insights for strategy development, initiatives and projects in the region
• Develop medical strategy, medical affairs plan and ensure the integration with disease strategy and alignment with commercial strategies from business and customer areas
• Identify, map and develop regional clinician KOLs in close collaboration with the affiliates and cross-functional teams; maintain the regional KOL database and tools; develop KOL engagement programs and drive guideline update and shape clinical practice with high medical value diagnostic solutions; build and maintain relationship with the top regional KOLs
• Develop medical education programs and contents; deliver and support the medical education initiatives and activities to clinicians and other healthcare stakeholders
• Identify the evidence gap, develop evidence generation strategy, initiate clinical and scientific studies in the region and drive publications and the use of the evidence in clinical adoption
• Provide medical and scientific insight to external stakeholders to support and address clinical adoption of diagnostic solutions, communicate and manage the off-label use upon unsolicited request - Develop medical affairs role and expertise of the APAC MSA community in the responsible disease area and drive the key initiatives of the APAC MSA community
• Provide medical and scientific support to commercial, market access, patient access and innovation activities as required - Provide training and education to internal stakeholders to build the awareness and expertise on the medical value of diagnostic solutions
• Provide medical governance to the development of medical content, review and approve medical and scientific contents in promotional materials.

Who you are

• Provide advice to prospects on admission requirements and programme benefits.
• Assist newly applied students with the admission and enrolment process and advise on prospective career options if applicable.
• Keep the leads’ status updated on a daily basis in CRM.

4. Student Relationship Management

• Provide professional programme consultation/counselling to prospective students and maintain a good service relationship with them to boost leads for achieving student recruitment targets.
• Assist prospects to ensure a good student application experience.

5. EduTrust Audit

• Conduct daily sales activities in strict accordance with the approved Student Recruitment SOP.
• Assist with the regular NAA internal assessment to optimise various documentation for the biennial EduTrust audit.
• Support the biennial EduTrust audit

6. General Ad-hoc Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO and Department Head/Manager.

As an Associate Director of Technology/Method Transfer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities in a GMP biotech contract manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with approved SOPs and policies across multiple products. You will lead and oversee method transfer, validation, and lab studies while supervising or developing staff. The role involves providing critical support for customer projects, managing resources, and ensuring coordination across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee laboratory activities such as assay transfers, disinfection studies, stability programs, equipment validation, and cleaning validation.
• Ensure the collection, management, and dissemination of project-related information to clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate project communications, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Provide stakeholders with key data and updates on project status, including timelines, budgets, resources, and any delays.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved budget, including resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
• Act as a liaison between clients, QC, QA, and management, coordinating project plans, execution, and change controls.
• Manage cross-functional operational integration for project teams.
• Engage within the Lonza Global Network, building industry expertise both internally and externally.
• Apply advanced industry knowledge to make decisions autonomously.
• Communicate quality operations and compliance updates to senior management effectively.
• Review and approve SOP protocols, reports, and records.
• Lead or supervise staff in investigations, change control, CAPA proposals, and discrepancy report closures.
• Participate in global harmonization and efficiency projects.
• Support departmental budget control and capital expenditure management.
• Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing individuals and teams, ensuring succession planning for key roles.
• Contribute to organizational change and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or higher in Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals with extensive experience in supervisory/project management roles within QC/QA.
• 10+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing operations in a GMP, FDA, and EU-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA and EMEA guidelines.
• Strong expertise in validation programs within GMP facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and make balanced decisions to meet deadlines.
• A team player with a focus on safety, quality, and timelines.
• Lead organizational change.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
