FD is currently looking to recruit a System Support Executive to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for supporting our clients using Big Data technologies. You will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate is an astute technical problem solver curious by nature, has a keen concern for the satisfaction of customers, and is enthusiastic and eager to learn and explore new technologies. We will provide the training on both system and domain knowledge to enable you to be able to successfully service our clients in the region.

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or a related field with strong foundations in algorithms and data structure with 1-3 years experience
• Experience in supporting and optimizing data pipelines with using Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Flink)
• Strong application management /development (L2) skills in Cloudera, Python, Unix ControlM
• Team player with good communication and problem solving skills prior

Job Description:

1. Managing Trade documentation and operations for Ferrous business of the Company

2. Handle Import & Export documentations (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO etc.)

3. Process and submit import L/C application to the bank, review export L/C and request amendments if any.

4. Coordinate with suppliers and/or their agent for documentation & shipping requirement.

5. Check shipment status and inform sales / customer of the status timely.

6. Check import shipping documents and ensure it complies with the contract.

7. Prepare export documents and ensure that it strictly complies with the letter of credit and/or customer’s requirement.

8. Monitor payment from customer against L/C or terms whichever applicable

9. Constantly co-ordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery of the commodity

10. Gain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of clients and develop long term plans to realize the potential

11. Work with Senior Management to determine the effective direction and process for growing revenue and profits

Job Description

• Undertake the necessary Requirement analysis independently for all change requests and enhancements
• Design the application, data-model, customizations and dashboard visualizations.
• Responsible for development and troubleshooting on Tableau applications.
• Perform source data profiling and analysis.
• Ensure end-to-end deployment using CICD pipelines for automated deployments
• Fine tune applications and systems for high performance and higher volume throughput.
• Participate in Agile Sprints and perform the necessary tasks like estimation, backlog refinement, scrum calls and sprint demo.
• Good communication skills necessary to engage with clients and the rest of the dev team effectively

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Tableau – scripting and report development. Extensive knowledge about Tableau Architecture
• Strong knowledge in SQL (Oracle, Sybase)
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Knowledge of development of Tableau dashboards integrating data from Hadoop ecosystem is preferable.
• Familiar with installation, configuration and tuning of server parameters.
• Knowledge of performance tuning measures and caching on Tableau
• Knowledge of any other BI tool/ETL tool will be advantageous.
• Project management skills- Ability to drive projects end-to-end
• Experience building intuitive and actionable dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions.
