JOB DESCRIPTION

• We need help with exam logistics and safety measure control.
• Deployed for exam invigilation duties, sort scripts, and pack scripts when needed.

WORKING HOURS

Reporting times and working times:

• Daily schedule: 8.30 8.30am to 5.30
• I will be rostered to work till 10.30
• (ONLY IF REQUIRED): On certain weekdays during exam period from April 15 to April 26, 2024

Hourly Rate

Normal Hourly rate: $10.00 per hour

Overtime rate : $15.00 per hour (After 40.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the effective execution of monthly payroll, statutory contribution and annual individual tax reporting for assigned local and overseas personnel. Provide full support for payroll processing, employee queries, government grant verification, budget/forecast for personnel cost, HR reporting, annual closing for payroll, leave and attendance management etc.

• Responsible for full spectrum of monthly payroll processing and provide payroll support.
• Responsible for verifying of overseas office monthly payroll (China).
• Processing of monthly Staff Claims, OT Claims and incentives.
• Handle tax clearance submission, monthly CPF & SDL submission, annual income tax submission, and other government related grant application and submission for local and overseas employees.
• Process expats tax matters, including withholding tax, prepare the issuance of IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and Appendix 8B, and ensure it meets regulatory requirements etc.
• Ensure compliance with respective labour law and payroll best practices for local and overseas.
• Liaise with external auditors and/or tax agents on payroll related matters.
• Manage of timesheet administration and conduct analysis for payroll purposes.
• Provide internal and external training administration support.
• Provide administrative support for our new joiners’ confirmation, designees’ exit clearance, conduct exit interview, and collect and compile data on the rationales for their resignation.
• Provide administrative support for Work Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
• Administer employees all types of leave include childcare leave, maternity/paternity Leave, etc.
• Provide advice and handle employee inquiries on HR-related matters.
• Support the team for company-wide events and/or activities.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Management / Finance / Accountancy / Banking / Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of generalist experience in the field of HR.
• Well-versed in payroll processing.
• Knowledge of Employment Act and various sourcing techniques.
• Meticulous, accurate, detailed, time sensitive and have an inquisitive/curious mind.
• Be customer focused and service oriented with a pleasant and assertive personality.
• Effective at prioritizing, organizing and meeting deadlines.
• Possess initiative, drive, a good eye for details and is result-oriented.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Self-starter as well as a team player.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office software packages.

• To assist in dealing with client queries on City Ledger account and handle all credit card inquires
• To check all invoices collected are reflected correctly in the Daily City Ledger Report & in the Opera system
• Ensure proper and correct balances of the City Ledger accounts are maintained
• Assist in maintaining proper credit procedures throughout the hotel in accordance with the policies and procedures
• To assist the Credit Manager in the month end closing of account includes printing reports, applying month end adjustments
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Finalizes food cover report and photocopies various documentation for food and beverage control and the Finance Department
• Controls dockets used in all outlets, maintaining correct sequence used at all times, accounting for dockets and making sure cancelled dockets are recorded accordingly
• Controls all food and beverage sales by:
• Correct recording of guest checks on a timely basis
• Performs spot checks on outlet checks used
• Having all voided checks, corrections and unsettled checks approved by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager
• Monitors the buffet controls, especially over cash settled checks to prevent reuse ensuring all revenue is recorded
• Ensure banquet controls are being adhered to
• Reconciles total outlet sales to total charges
• Ensures all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges. All rebate credits must be in accordance with Finance Policy. The rebate credits, miscellaneous charges and paid outs must be summarized and sent to the Finance Manager and General Manager for review daily
• Audits daily collection of the General Cashiers Summary against the bank in slip
• Reconciles revenues on a daily basis via back up page
• Audits and reconciles advance payments and ensures payments have been applied
• Keys revenue journal and distributes to Outlet Mangers and management
• Works with General Cashier to check all float totals regularly and keeps control on registers in outlets

What we need from you

• Secondary school or equivalent
• Great communication skills. Must speak fluent English and local language with other additional languages preferred
• Computer literate (excel, word, office)
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds

Role: Customer Technical Support Engineer

Work Location: Yishun (need to travel within Singapore)

Job Scope:

• Providing technical support on both hardware and software for products such as library system / equipment at clients’ locations islandwide
• Work with Engineers / professionals in the implementation, testing and user acceptance of products
• Conduct regular inspection, analysis and troubleshooting of systems and equipment including running tests and interpretating results / recommending effective solutions or recommendations
• Sourcing / negotiation with suppliers for parts and clients on replacements
• Writing of reports including conducting basic user guides, safety regulation and preventive maintenance plans
• Be the point of contact for all faults raised, logging and attending to the issues within stipulated timeline
• Any other tasks as assigned

Requirement:

• Nitec / Diploma / Degree in IT / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Engineering related field of studies
• Proficiency in IT technical skills and resourceful in solving technical issues
• Customer focused and a good team player with a high level of responsibility and commitment
• Willing to be on standby due to operations needs

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise and support other department heads on people management matters
• Administer the preparation of job descriptions, ensuring that they are up-to-date and follow the established format
