The Communications Manager plays an integral role in bringing APLMA’s mission and vision further to life. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a high performing team of data scientists and be accountable for the design, development, and implementation of data solutions for key Visa clients. You will collaborate with VCA, Business, and Technology teams across the organization to implement solutions to drive business performance. This role reports to the Head of Data Science Asia Pacific and based in Visa Singapore office.

Due to a promotion in our team, we are hiring another business development manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.

Experience in sales, marketing or related field.

Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

Responsible:

• Responsible for the overall compensation and benefits management of the company, ensuring the reasonable operation of the company's compensation system and that employee salaries are competitive in the market.
• Replicate the company's monthly payroll calculations to ensure accurate and error-free payroll processing.
• Liaise with suppliers and reconcile supplier data.
• Regularly conduct analysis of the company's compensation, structure, and job levels, and produce recommendation reports beneficial to the company's development.
• Discuss and continuously optimize with management.
• Conduct regular market salary surveys and optimize the compensation model.
• When necessary, design compensation and job level frameworks under the guidance of supervisors and produce implementation plans.

Requirements:

• Min 4 years of experience in compensation & benefit
• Min bachelor degree in HR, Business admin and relevant course

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking team and be involved in the sales of GLDB’s banking products and services to meet the financial and investment needs of MSMEs.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement sales strategies to solicit and develop new accounts to expand GLDB’s MSME client base.
• Prospect new MSME customers for account opening and working capital loans.
• Comfortable with outbound acquisition via phone calls to bring in new customers for the bank and to deepen the relationship for existing customers of the Bank.
• Facilitate new loan and account opening applications, and proactively manage and monitor these accounts to minimise non-performing loans.
• Prepare credit proposal and propose appropriate credit mitigants for new loan applications.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in a reputable institution.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Emerging Business/Business Banking or in Non-Bank FIs/Fintech lenders serving wholesale customers.
• Experience in doing commercial loans covering local SMEs.
• Good understanding of MSME loan, and cash products.
• Demonstrated records of overachieving sales target whilst balanced with risk awareness and management.

Responsibilities:

• Establish strong strategic partnership with Distributors + Dealers, leading to the positioning of company products as first choice of purchase for our end users
• Build strong relationships with the decision makers within the key accounts by building trust and a win-win long-term partnership
• Measure current sales within Channel Partners and develop action plans to increase sales revenue
• Responsible for building and implementing business proposal (business potential, contact lists, competitive analysis, value proposition and action plan, etc.)
• Manage getting the right resources & aligning priorities to support our ambitious growth plan for SE Asia & APAC region
• Engage with internal resources (e.g., Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Sourcing Managers) to identify & quantify new opportunities
• Lead challenging contract & pricing negotiation with customers
• Provide input for the annual operating plan (AOP) and the long-term business plan (LTBP)
• Competent & analytical in data to support monthly, quarterly & yearly product forecasting projections

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years customer-facing outside sales experience
• Experience in managing & growing sales of products through the sales channels (distributors + dealers)
• Good understanding of how to manage distributor relationship
• Project management skills
• Possess car driving license
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure against tight deadlines
• Provide product training/demonstration to distributors, dealers and end-users as required
