About Starts Singapore
Starts Singapore Pte Ltd is a local property agency owned by Starts Corporation (Japan). We specialise in supporting Japanese companies expanding their businesses into Singapore and their expatriates for their housing needs. We provide real estate supporting services covering commercial and residential properties.
We urgently seek for a suitable candidate to join our team (current staff strength of 12) as a key back-end support.
Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll regularly and work closely with our HR consultant to ensure compliance of Employment Act and taxation policy.
-Responsible for monthly CPF contributions, tax clearance/ annual tax filing by working closely with our Accountant.
- Responsible for yearly AIS submission, ECI filing, assist tax agent on corporate tax filing, support external auditor and headquarters auditor during annual audit process.
- Prepare invoicing, debit and credit notes, payments, issuance of cheques/ TT and e-filing duties, bank reconciliation, cashflow statements.
- Responsible for month-end accounts closing, full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL). Ensure our Accountant generates the monthly financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle all administrative duties relating to HR matters and claims.
- Maintain employee P-file
- Insurance & License Renewals (Medical Insurance, Office Insurance & etc)
- Maintain local office daily operations such as ensuring IT system stability by managing our IT subcontractor, handling incoming/ outgoing mails, pantry & miscellaneous supplies.
- Handle the onboarding, offboarding, and employee welfare.
- Ad hoc job duties, projects and initiatives as assigned.
- This is an on-site job, 5-day work week.
Job Requirements:
- Singaporean and PR only
- GCE “O” level / Diploma in Accounting / LCCI or equivalent
-Minimum 1 year's admin work experience. Fresh school leavers will be considered.
- Has some knowledge of statutory payroll regulations, Employment Act, CPF Act, Income Tax and legislation in Singapore
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail is essential
