JOB SUMMARY

Manages the day-to-day operations of MIJ's programs for Special Needs Individuals, ranging from 3yo to 30yo. Participates in the development, recommendation and administration of policies, procedures and processes in support of Centre operations. Responds to inquiries and requests and provide regular feedback.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plans, organises, maintains and manages the operations of Early Intervention Preparatory ant Student Care programs for students with special needs.
2. Develops, recommends and administers policies, procedures, and processes in support of the different programs' operations; implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes.
3. Participates in/on a variety of meetings, committees, task forces and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding services, programs, areas of opportunity, and/or other pertinent information as appropriate.
4. Organise, plan and schedule classes, as well as activities for the holiday programs.
5. Manage teachers’ responsibilities and mentor teachers to help them understand the processes, approaches to teaching in the different programs.
6. Coordinate arrivals and pick up schedule with bus drivers on a daily basis.
7. Liaise with parents on matters regarding student affairs, teaching and learning issues.
8. Attend to Student-Parent matters with regards to student’s academic and behavioural attitudes and achievements.
9. Positions in this classification may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and all positions perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, Kindergarten, or Day Activity Centre
• Polytechnic Diploma and above
• Possess good communication skills
• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Package, label and dispense medications.
• Check inventory and restock drugs and other items.
• Check for expired medications and discard it properly.
• Help customers find what they need or send them to the pharmacist for more help.

• Min GCE A level/Diploma in any discipline
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prior admin experience

• TCM Clinical Training Programme (CTP)
• Schedule rotation of CTP trainees among participating TCM institutions
• Provide administrative support for the ongoing programme
• TCM branch finance matters
• Processing of non-invoices and e-invoices for upload to NFS for payment
• Tracking of TCM branch projects’ funding utilisation

Job Requirements (to input any required fields of study and mandatory skills)

• Bachelor’s degree, in any discipline. Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine will be advantageous. Salary hourly : S$17.00 per hour (Degree with no work experience).
