What is the Difference Between the Project Coordinator and the Analyst/Medical Writer Roles?

Analysts, Medical Writers and Project Coordinators share a similar level of responsibilities; however the roles do differ significantly in terms of daily duties.

Analysts and Medical Writers conduct detailed analyses of scientific data to create a variety of materials that are presented to, and used by, our clients.

Whilst working on the same projects across a variety of disease areas, Project Coordinators use their scientific knowledge to provide project management support and administrative help to project teams, allowing the timely delivery of high quality work. Additionally, Project Coordinators work with senior colleagues within their division to carry out internal administrative tasks, suggesting improvements and working to maximise efficiency within their teams.

Project Manager – Cybersecurity System

Role Summary

The Project Manager in the cybersecurity team (SMEE) will be responsible for the successful implementation of ICT infrastructure/ Cyber-security projects from contract award to system commissioning and/or service support and maintenance.

He/She will lead an implementation team comprising engineers with different technological and domain skills-set to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects to meet the contractual requirements. This includes to manage stakeholders, internal project team, subcontractors/ vendors, time, budget, schedule and risk management to deliver our commitments to our customers. In addition, he will need to work with other functional groups such as finance, legal, PMO and procurement as part of the project management processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead, plan and manage assigned projects within the business group, in accordance with organizational and project goals, such as budget, timelines and quality, to ensure successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables.

• Act as the single point of contact for entire scope of activities for the designated account in the areas of Cyber cecurity System and Services, system infrastructure, implementation, network architecture, security polies enhancement, security patching and risk mitigation, security incidents/audits and as well operation support and system maintenance

Requirements:

Full job description

• Oversee site works and activities and provide overall leadership to the project teams
• Handle project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion target
• Perform site planning coordination and inspection relating to the construction project to ensure that project completion timeline, requirement and budget are met
• Lead, plan and execute MEPL/M&E/ACMV projects in A&A or newly build sector n compliance with safety, quality and schedule
• Ensure monthly progress report is prepare on timely manner
• Attending all meeting with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Liase with internal & external parties for project management
• Ensure the site team comply with client regulatory requirement
• Attend tender site show or adhoc site visit for new work request
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirement :

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in MEPL/M&E/ACMV for Commercial/Industrial/ Plant Sectors
• ACMV and Electrical experienceis preferred
• Independent, diligent meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
