About this Role:
The Human Resource Executive (Part-time) works closely with the Human Resource Manager who has line-management responsibilities for this role, and interfaces directly with the Admin Executive on a regular basis. This role is based at the Council for World Mission (CWM) Headquarters, in Singapore.
This part-time position (3 fixed days a week in office) is responsible for providing general HR administrative support to ensure the seamless functions of the HR department; this includes all tasks related to HR management and HR development, including Staff engagement events and activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Exit (includes International staff)
a. Involved in administration from hiring advertisements to physical onboarding of new joins.
b. Screen resumes, candidates and arrange interviews, and liaise with agency where applicable.
c. Prep introduction and coordinate induction programme with various departments.
d. Maintain all HR records and documents properly online.
e. Carry out administration and execution of the exit process.
Staff Appraisal & Development
a. Assist Manager on the Appraisal exercise and to compile reports.
b. Collate training needs & updates in the Staff Development Plan, and be administrator for training funds including monitoring the training budget.
Other HR work
a. Assist in raising Purchase Quote for international payroll and other financial payments.
b. Support in Work pass related matters and renewal of Work Permits.
c. Liaise with Government agencies for funding and other initiatives.
d. Support Manager in HR software administration.
e. Assist with insurance matters and advisory.
f. Support Manager to enforce company policies.
g. Organise staff engagement activities or events such as Christmas D&D, CNY lohei, CWM Day celebration, National Day lunch and Staff retreat etc.
h. Any other duties as assigned by HR Manager.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years’ relevant HR experience in both HRM and HRD.
- Degree in related discipline or minimum Diploma in HR is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of using MS Office to a competent level within an office environment.
- Excellent communication skills with peers of all levels up to senior management.
- Proactive, and possesses a positive and friendly persona.
- Excellent time-keeping skills and meticulous in nature.
- An ability to demonstrate a personal alignment with CWM’s core values and ethos.
