The Pathways Manager (PM) will be a suitable qualified and experienced person who will work closely with the CEO of the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) in carrying out the youth development and sport participation plans. These would form part of the multi-year sport plan for the developing the sport of Basketball. Most importantly, the Pathways Manager must be able to work with the schools, institutions, IHLs, youth coaches, youth athletes, community and grassroots mass participation partners to curate the pathways development plan to achieve success at various development level.

The Pathways Manager must be able to reach out to the sport participation stakeholders, sieve out talented youth players and ensure that these talented youth players are getting good quality daily training environment as much as possible. The Pathways Manager will also be in charge of organising tournaments, or leagues, to provide sport participation competitions opportunities for pathways development.

The Pathways Manager must therefore have experience or clear understanding in sport development, sport management, sport events organising, and competent in pathways development leading towards high-performance sport environment. He/she should have good communication & good people relationships management skills. To this end, he/she must display initiative, and have highly developed planning and organizing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and harmoniously in a team environment.

Liaison/coordination

Job Description:

We are seeking for InfoComm Project Executive talent, responsible for assisting project managers. The job entails the person to be responsible for managing and controlling project documentations and records related to submarine communication cable projects. We develop candidate who is passionate in building large scale SLTE submarine cable networks (across Asia Pacific region) with engineering knowledge of DWDM optical networks. Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain document control procedures, including version control, naming conventions and document distribution protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete the project documentation to close the projects.
• Involve in project field work for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
• Assist Project Manager in managing multiple InfoComm project lifecycle and tasks.
• Attend weekly/monthly/ad-hoc meetings internally or with clients and take minutes of meeting as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Coordination and supervision of Field Engineers for onsite deployments during project execution stage so that works are completed on time and according to project requirements, quality plan and project budget.
• Produce weekly project forecasts to internal team and clients as assigned by Project Manager.
• Negotiate quotations with vendors/partners/suppliers.
• If you have aptitude for site works, you will be given opportunities to work along with submarine cable project Field Engineers.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in engineering document controller or in a similar role within the telecommunication industry is a plus (example: ISO-9001, ITU-T, IEEE).
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
