We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to help drive product strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement for our Customer & Content Value Team.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As Lead/Senior Product Manager, you will focus on one or more of our flagship media publications. You will move fast to refine clear scope and product requirements, question assumptions, identify issues where appropriate, and proactively identify and raise product risks. You will work to define and build critical experiences that will help us match customers with content they love.

You will be a key player at the intersection of business and technology, supporting the growth of SPH through the successful creation and operation of our end consumer facing features. You will interact with external partners and internal users, as well as interface with groups across SPH. You will collaborate with the editorial teams, and internal Engineering and Business teams amongst others to enhance the reach, engagement and monetization of our products.

As a Lead/Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Define and execute the roadmap with clearly articulated and well measured goals
• Identify, define and execute on projects that elevate the usability, novelty, and comprehensiveness of discovery pathways
• Drive understanding of how and where discovery initiatives can bolster content discovery and engagement
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and other partner teams to create discovery experiences that are meaningful and delightful to consumers
• Collaborate across teams to optimise content classification, browsing, and conversion experiments and measure firmly understood hypotheses and business objectives
• Plan and prioritise the backlog for development teams to ensure maximum value in deliverables
• Interpret insights and business needs and transform into detailed product requirements documents and user stories for engineering teams to execute

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, analytical or related field
• 12+ years of total experience preferably in consumer product management in complex organisations
• Strong communication skills - Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions
• Exceptionally strong execution skills to create high standard product specifications, product success metrics and drive product delivery through multiple teams
• Strong analytical skills, experience in data driven hypothesis testing and experimentation
• Experience of deeply understanding customer needs, pain points & closely working with design teams to rapidly iterate and improve user experience
• Strong team player with demonstrated ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and rally teams towards a common goal
• Experience driving long term strategy and business outcome ownership for key initiatives
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives & priorities simultaneously

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years experience working on e-commerce products, B2B/B2C subscriptions, payment purchase workflows
• Strong experience in UI/UX and ability to give designer feedback
• Background in technical role is a plus; Ability to recognize the benefits and limitations of the technical design of a feature, and engage with engineering to make informed trade-off decisions

Job Description:

(a) Photocopy, laminate, bind, shred documents;

(b) Monitor and ensure adequate supplies in Printing Room, such as:

- Toner, staples, paper, laminating films, binding rings.

- Request forms and stationery for staff use;

(c) Maintain the Printing Room in a neat and clean condition;

(d) Attend to photocopier breakdowns in staff rooms

- To check the cause of breakdowns before calling the serviceman;

(e) To liaise with vendors on the maintenance schedule and repairing of photocopier machines; and

(f) Any other administration duties as assigned by school e.g. sort/ distribute and file documents, cover walk-ins/ calls.

Social Media Strategy Development:

• Partnering with clients to gain insights into their marketing goals and target demographics, and crafting comprehensive social media strategies that align with these objectives.
• Generating captivating and persuasive content for a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This encompasses writing and editing posts, conceptualizing design ideas, and collaborating with designers and talent to produce graphics, videos, and other multimedia content, including EDMs, social media audits, and branding guides.
• Overseeing and managing social media accounts for both clients and the company, which involves scheduling and posting content, engaging with followers and customers, and responding to comments and messages.

Advertising Campaigns:

• Creating and executing paid social media advertising campaigns to effectively reach the intended audience. This includes setting up ad campaigns, determining targeting criteria, monitoring performance, and optimizing campaigns to meet desired outcomes.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Tracking and evaluating social media metrics and performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and social media management platforms. Producing reports to measure the success of social media strategies and campaigns, and offering data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in social media marketing. Adopting new features and emerging platforms to ensure clients are leveraging the most effective strategies.

Requirements:

• At least a diploma in Mass Communications, Linguistics or similar field.
• Has skills in creative design campaign management and reporting.
• Good team player and able to work independently.

What a Director, Business Planning Operations, AP Corporate Communications does at Visa:  

Reporting to SVP, AP Head Corporate Communication, the Director, Business Planning and Operations (BPO) of the AP Corporate Communication function will be responsible for business and workforce planning, strategy development and execution, budget management, management and control of the strategic project portfolio, provision of business support to markets, including enhancing business processes to maximize internal and in-market performance.     

This role is a key member of the AP Corporate Communication team, working closely with both hub and in market leads to facilitate planning, strategy and reporting activities. This role is the key liaison between global Corporate Communication function and the region, as well as a key member of the regional BPO network.  This role requires sound commercial and strategic mindset, as well as strong organizational and influencing skills to ensure its successful delivery, as it involves working closely with the various functional teams and subject matter experts across the organization in the AP Region.

In this role, you are expected to:

Business / Strategy

• Lead the AP Corporate Communication group in business planning, strategy development, drive effective leadership and operations through management of key business processes.
• Manage the tracking, reporting and analysis of AP Corporate Communication metrics and targets, and recommend changes or initiatives to achieve goals as necessary
• Manage and drive key strategic projects, which typically require cross-functional collaboration from initiation to execution, ensuring alignment with organization, business and market priorities

Qualifications

Job Description:

Public Address (PA) Systems

• Train the AV CCA students to manage the Public Address System equipment during assembly and school events
• Maintain PA systems in school – monitor, troubleshoot, provide maintenance and escalate unresolved problems to relevant vendors; coordinate with vendors on site where installation and repair works are required

Audio-Visual Resources

• Manage AV equipment during all major school events
• Handle all AV set-up requests for school events – ensure requests made by staff and external parties (pre-approved by P/VPs/HOD ICT/SH ICT/ICT Manager) are met
• Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and Media-related equipment
• Respond to requests for AV/Media technical support by staff when they face technical issues during lessons
• Provide advice to HOD ICT, SH ICT and ICT Manager on the AV and media-related needs of the school and work with vendors to propose solutions
• Assist in the purchase of AV and media-related equipment and services based on school’s needs (through bulk tenders, calling tenders and quotations), bearing in mind the Compliance Guidelines for school on Procurement
• Provide assistance in the condemnation of AV and media-related resources
• Manage AV equipment in classrooms and all other special rooms and monitor the equipment usage and maintenance on a termly basis

Managing of AV and media-related equipment during events

• Provide support for school events and activities. Example: CNY Concert, Farewell Assembly, College Day, staff contact time, weekly assemblies for students etc.
• Provide support required by the Project Work Department in the end-of-year A-level PW Oral Presentation Examination, including recording of videos

Training of students from AV Club, Media Club and JP Press

• Training of AV students on use of AV and media equipment, and guiding them to the running of college events
• Working with Media Club students and guiding them to improve their video-editing skills
• Training JP Press students on photo-editing

Broadcast System

• Maintain and upload contents for school TV broadcast system and TV Wall, including maintenance of the system

Photo and Video-taking and editing

• Provide services for photography, recording and editing of videos; eg. taking individual photographs for new JC1 students and new staff, during school events and ad-hoc requests from teachers (pre-approved by HOD ICT/ SH ICT/ICT Manager)
• Create video and photo montages to support college events

Other duties

• Other duties as assigned by the Principal/Vice Principals, HOD ICT, SH ICT and ICT Manager

Job Requirements:

• Possesses at least one year of working experience in AV and Media support (prior experience working in MOE schools would be an advantage)
• Possesses experience in photography and creation of video montages
• Proficient in the use of photo and video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier pro, Capcut etc.
• A dynamic team player who possesses good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Possesses at least a Nitec or higher certification in AV/Media related discipline
