Position Overview
The Automatic Exchange of Information (‘AEOI’) Team is seeking a Manager who will be responsible for servicing AEOI clients in the APAC region. Reporting to the Senior Vice President (AEOI) in Singapore, the AEOI Manager will be responsible for coordinating AEOI services for 80+ clients: completion of annual regulatory deliverables, engagements for existing and new clients, supporting the business development teams in the region, and ongoing client servicing.
A varied multi-tasking role which encompasses client relationship management, investor communication, and daily internal/external stakeholder management & communication combined with all relevant and associated administration.
The Role:
· Manage communications and ongoing relationships of investment managers, investors, and other external and internal stakeholders. Manage expectations and ensure that all queries are dealt with in a timely manner. Provide excellent service to clients via direct or indirect contact.
· Maintain and improve knowledge of the Automatic Exchange of information regulatory and compliance environment as it impacts service and/or clients, including industry research and analysis as required.
· Communicate daily with remote teams and reporting lines; preparing and providing progress and status updates and escalating items as required.
· Prepare, and/or review prepared AEOI filing analysis output from back office for delivery to clients.
· Review and provide feedback on self-certifications and IRS withholding forms
· Read and interpret Financial Statements in order to determine account values.
· Research, analyze and provide recommendations for process improvements to increase operational efficiencies.
· Identify, analyze and troubleshoot classification and re-classification inconsistencies.
· Additional tasks as assigned
Basic Requirements:
· Degree qualified (preferably in a discipline relevant to Financial Services)
· 6+ years’ experience in Financial Services, with exposure to FATCA & CRS regulations an advantage
· Proven strong client relationship skills
· Proven experience managing multiple projects / deliverables; excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Proven experience managing at team, at least 3+ years’ experience
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Results driven and self-motivated
· Ability to work in global teams and adapt to different communication styles
· You have good client/ business relationship management
· You have strong interpersonal & communication skills
· You are proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
