What You’ll Do For Us:

This role will oversee the company's trade compliance program, manage transportation and logistics operations, and coordinate with various stakeholders. You'll be working with the Plant General Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Plant Planning Logistic Manager, Trade Compliance Plant Project Lead, Corporate Trade Compliance Manager, OU/CPS Legal team, Share Service Supply Chain, and CPS Corporate Finance Team.

Job Description

The Facade Design Manager oversees all fundamental parts of the design process. The Facade Design Manager ensures drawings and proposals comply with the client's requirements, as well as with statutory and other requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Fuction as in house technical resource for project issues regarding architectural and engineering design
2. Ensure that design drawings meet client requirements (shop drawings, cutting lists, production drawings, job order etc)
3. Liaise and coordinate with members from Projects, Contracts, and Production to ensure that projects proceed according to schedule and within budget
4. Liaise and coordinate with external agencies - architescts, QPs, PE, contractors, sub contractors, suppliers etc from inception to completion of project
5. Manage design activities to ensure the drawings are completed and approved in time for fabrication
6. Prepare materials takeoff and optimization
7. Work with Procurement Department for materials procurement
8. Check and ensure the quality of all drawings and designs
9. Participate in the development of proposals, pricing and presentations for design work
10. Manage and implement design schedule and forecasts
11. Assign design resources based on project type, complexity and timelines
12. Ensure proper record keeping and version control for all drawings, cutting lists etc in accordance with ISO procedures.
13. Manage, supervise and train members of the department
14. Source for and manage external drafters as necessary.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

This role is accountable for managing the Fuels product portfolio, guiding the strategic direction and driving the profitable growth of the Fuels business by delivering sustainable winning value propositions for markets and customers in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Australia. It’s an individual contributor role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Line Management

• Develop, communicate and implement the regional product line strategy
• Lead the Fuels product positioning activities in support of customers’ business plan
• Provide marketing management (product, pricing, promotion) in designated end use
• Provide input and implement product line complexity management plans for the region
• Support Product Development and Commercialization Excellence and proactively manage the Fuels product portfolio

Sales and Technical Support

• Work with the regional Sales team to achieve the annual sales plan, incorporating technical projects as needed
• Provide Fuels product line support to Lubrizol Sales with customer visits, presentations, product and technical training
• Understand customer and competitor’s value propositions, strengths and weaknesses and identify threats; convert market changes into opportunities for growth
• Gain market info to guide new product development strategies
• Maintain opportunity list for region and drive activity necessary to gain business
• Manage projects, involving colleagues from a range of departments and locations from initiation to successful and timely completion
• Develop estimates and project scope independently (objectives, milestones, resources, and economics)
• Accurately collate, analyze and interpret data from laboratory and mechanical testing

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education & Professional Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering
• 5-8 years in technical, commercial and product management roles, preferably in fuels additives
• Candidates having other qualifications with experience & proven track record in related positions may also be considered

Knowledge & Skills:

• Commercial and marketing skills including product positioning, strategic and value pricing
• Knowledge of customers, OEMs, competitors, and the market drivers in the Fuels market
• Be proactive and exercise high initiative
• Ability to establish strong relationships and to work within a matrix organization
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel (20%)

Job Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, rehearsals, technical rehearsals, performances and maintenance calls, as required, to ensure smooth delivery of shows and events.
• Assist the Technical Manager in the delivery of technical support for shows and events and deputise as required.
• Plan and oversee the movement and operation of technical equipment in venues within the resort.
• Direct and execute Technical Manager responsibilities and prepare detailed operation plans for medium to large events as required by clients (internal and external) or as directed.
• Lead and motivate events and show teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality productions.
• Reduce cost and increase revenue to support RWS Entertainment’s business objectives.
• Independently design, programme and operate ONE or more technical equipment and systems* during medium to large scale technical rehearsals, events and shows.
• Identify training needs within the team and provide suitable training to meet the needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and other statutory WSH reports as required.
• Ensure team compliance with WSH, show/event procedures, manufacturer’s guidelines and local applicable regulations.
• Perform any other tasks as required.

*Entertainment equipment and systems include: Staging, Lighting, Sound, Audio-visual, Rigging, Show Control and Automation.

Job Requirements

• Preferred: Degree, Diploma or WSQ Equivalent in a related discipline.
• With Degree, Diploma or WSQ Equivalent – 8 – 10 years of related industry experience required, including not less than two years’ experience managing technical personnel.
• Without Diploma or WSQ Equivalent – at least 10 years of related industry experience required, including not less than two years’ experience managing technical personnel.
• Proven ability to plan, organize and complete tasks in an acceptable timeframe.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
