GENERAL SUMMARY

Reports to the Partnerships Director, and is responsible for securing new funding/ donations to ensure HCSA programmes’ sustainability through corporate sponsorships for our signature fundraising campaigns and iniatives. The purpose of this role is fundraising through donor acquisition and retention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising

· Be responsible for significant personal target as part of overall team fundraising target

· Work with the Director to develop strategies to identify and source suitable partners, develop inspirational pitches that attract sponsorship and collaboration with the goal to convert leads into long-term sustainable partnerships

· Shape convincing narratives together with Director to prepare compelling proposals and appeals for donors for HCSA’s signature fundraising campaigns and initiatives

New Donors Engagement

· Develop corporate donors recruitment and retention strategy

· Working with the team to evaluate, enhance and implement donor management policies and processes (e.g. onboarding, development, recognition, engagement)

Others

• Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other community stakeholders, corporate partners and government agencies

Education & Experience

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting

Snapshot of Your Role

A key member of the site/country leadership team who is responsible for all aspects of finance and governance. This individual will be responsible to maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across the business, working closely with the client, a leading Global Tech company. This finance role is a site based independent / stand alone function with support extended from the local Compass Group Head Office. This role will report into and work closely with the Regional Finance Director for APAC who is also based in Singapore.

The great things you will be expected to do:

• Managing the day to day finance function of the Singapore business ensuring all reporting timelines are adhered to.
• Working closely with the Singapore Corporate Office during the month-end closing process to ensure all billing information, journal entries and balance sheet accounts are accurate & up to date
• Supporting the Operational team in monitoring and tracking spend for the month
• Maintaining a repository of all supporting documentation in an easily accessible manner
• Preparing monthly presentations- monthly performance against budget, forecasts with commentary and meaningful analysis
• Maintaining and updating Regional and Global Cost centers on a monthly basis for spend & expenditure versus budget & forecasts
• Supporting the yearly budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc assignments
• Preparing and being the point of contact for yearly internal audits
• Ensuring compliance with the commercial terms within the contract

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

• Accounting / Finance Degree - CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA Preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

• No less than 5 years in an accounting / financial analysis / progressive finance role

About the Strategic Communications Unit (SCU)

The Strategic Communications Unit (SCU) is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering timely, clear, concise, and effective messaging and communication strategies to enhance the corporate profile of SNEF and promulgate SNEF’s key messages across all media platforms.

The SCU produces and disseminates information, messages and publications to relevant stakeholder groups through internal and external communication and works to raise the profile of SNEF internally and externally through the development of communication and media strategies that promote the mission of SNEF.

The SCU will reside as a dedicated unit under the Policy Division helmed by the Head (Strategic Communications).

• Conduct market research, identify opportunities, and develop a regional go-to-market plan aligned with global strategies.
• Manage the product roadmap and prioritize features based on market needs, business objectives, and feedback from subsidiaries and headquarters.
• Collaborate with Japan and regional product teams to ensure the product meets the specific requirements of the MEA market.
