Duties

- Assist customers with daily cargo bookings and manage the administration of these bookings, including entering flight reservations into the system and issuing airway bills.

- Plan the daily flight load to optimize capacity and efficiency.

- Ensure the smooth uplift of shipments by tracking cargo movement, conducting warehouse checks, and overseeing operations at the tarmac.

- Address customer claims for missing or damaged cargo and handle any queries related to reservations. Provide timely follow-up with customers to resolve issues.

Ability to generate import clearance permits

Arrange timely pickup / delivery of cargoes to and from customers according to schedules

Arrange timely transfer of cargo for transhipment connection

Assist customers as and when required, without compromising on procedures

Prepare billing or invoicing to customers including COD transactions

Prepare costing and close file

Ensure accurate expected gross profit reporting

Ensure meeting KPIs performance

Perform clerical duties as and when assigned by immediate superior

Good working knowledge of operations (Air Freight) and handling of DGR cargo

Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with certification in Freight & Logistics

Possess the ability to work independently and good team player with initiativeness

Preferably with minimum GCE 'O' Level passes

Tradenet qualification - a must requirement

Familiar with Trade Regulatory, Trade Net and handling requirements of DG cargo as per classified by IMO
