Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Asia Pacific Enterprise Markets, Middle East and Africa in Home Care business. Brief Summary

The Regional Finance Director partners with the Commercial SVP to drive growth sustainably by driving efficiency in the investments being made to drive topline and bottom line as well. Key Activities

The Vaccines Finance Director Greater China and Intercontinental ensures ambitious, aligned & effective Plans and Forecasts as well as supports performance management and optimization through regular analysis, business insights and right balance of risks and opportunities. This role enables and builds strong commercial business cases for the GC&I region including launches and BD support. The scope includes providing partnering, decision support, financial analysis, and performance management for Vaccines in the GC&I region. It requires highly effective partnering with a range of roles including Regional/Area Finance Heads, Vaccines Markets Leaders, Vaccines Financial Leaders, and Vaccines Financial Partners in the Local Operating Companies (LOCs). Key Responsibilities

Requirements:

As the Head of Department, the Director shall:

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and review all periodical financial reports, provide timely and accurate financial data to senior management for decision making
2. Implement and monitor a control system and/or other accounting quality management system.
3. Implement and ensure compliance of accounting policies, measures, procedures that are necessary for proper accounting practices, controls and services.
4. Plan and prepare annual and long-term capital and annual budgets for senior management’s approval.
5. Monitor the preparation of cash-flow statements, forecast and interact with the Banks and other external bodies.

• Deliveries of timely group financial results to all stakeholders through close collaboration with the regional business managers
• Owner of accounting metrics and reporting, providing recommendations on improvements and best practices
• Analyse financial data and present financial management reports and projections

Skills and Experience
