We are looking for an HR Executive / Senior to join our growing team. In this role you will focus on our most important asset, our people. This role is responsible for HR operations & engaging our people, working closely with the Head of HR to make Chab Events an amazing place to work.

Operations Responsibilities:

• Handle HR administration functions
• Assist the Finance department with monthly Payroll
• Benefit & Welfare Administration
• Onboarding & offboarding
• Handling queries relating to HR matters
• Raise contracts, promotion and salary related official letters
• Manage HRIS System (leave allowances, engagement activities, compliance etc)
• Prepare weekly reports for senior management on key HR Analytics
• Manage work pass application & renewal process
• Liaise with MOM & other government entities relating to labour law, surveys, grants etc
• Adhering to employment laws and ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Liaise with IT service provider for IT related set up & any issues

Engagement Responsibilities:

• Measure Employee Engagement across the organisation, and design creative initiatives to increase engagement.
• Work with the Senior HR Manager to manage the onboarding process to ensure new joiners are onboarded quickly & smoothly
• Craft various initiatives and events that encourage a fun and positive work environment, where employees feel valued and appreciated
• Manage team bonding activities & schedule, delivering engaging and creative experiences.

Must haves

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a HR operations/generalist role, ideally with some experience relating to employee engagement.
• A degree in HR / HR professional certification (IHRP / CIPD) or equivalent experience required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential to be successful in this role
• A positive, can do attitude, with a solution oriented approach
• Strong communicator, fluency in English essential
• The ability to motivate and inspire others
• It would be great if you also have experience, or an interest, in the events & creative industries, but not essential

The incumbent will be working as an HR Executive (Recruitment). S/he will be assisting the HR Manager for all Recruitment and HR Operations matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, interview, salary proposal, onboarding process, orientation, and offboarding
• Responsible for the full spectrum of HR operations (recruitment, employee relations, etc.)
• Manage all Work Pass (WP, SPASS, EP) matters such as applications, renewal, and cancellation
• Required to travel to Tuas Warehouse for WP Issuance and orientation for the new warehouse staff
• Maintain and update personnel records
• Prepare recruitment reports for the management
• Provide day-to-day operational HR and admin administration support
• Assist in setting up laptops with IT for all the new hires
• Any other duties or projects assigned by the superior

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant HR recruitment functions
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels within and across the company
• Flexible and well organize
