Job Scope:

Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data for optimal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease states. • Review tender specifications and meticulously evaluate vendor proposals for process mechanical equipment, propose suitable equipment brands for tender submission and procurement, prepare cost estimations for process mechanical work during the tender stage
• Provide support during the procurement, contract negotiation, and progress claim processes throughout project execution
• Lead testing and commissioning activities, ensuring the seamless transition to operational status
• Plan and manage the process mechanical work schedule, and keep the Management Team informed of project progress, emerging issues, and resource requirements
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and consultants, responding to their inquiries and comments in a professional manner
• Manage the process mechanical suppliers and subcontractors according to establish schedule and quality requirement

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in process/mechanical design of process plant (incineration plant, water/wastewater plant, etc.), at least 2 years’ experience in leadership or team lead role. Experience in the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) wastewater treatment system is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and Singapore codes of practice.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in using commonly used software applications such as MS Office.
• Familiarity with Naviswork and Bentley View Software for P&ID is considered an added advantage.
• Strong leadership abilities, including the capability to lead a team effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate technical discussions and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.

Position Overview

The Volunteer Manager at KKCS will drive the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the organization’s volunteer programs, ensuring they effectively support the needs of all service units. This role will oversee volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention, establishing a positive and compliant volunteer culture. Additionally, the role involves building data management systems to assess volunteer impact and engaging with community partners to expand support networks for KKCS.

This position requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring volunteers and building community partnerships. The Volunteer Manager will play a crucial role in aligning volunteer contributions with KKCS’s mission, fostering growth and recognition for volunteers, and ensuring program compliance and quality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Volunteer Management

1.1. Lead, develop, and implement volunteer management policies, processes, and culture across KKCS.

1.2. Build and maintain a pool of dedicated volunteers to support all KKCS service units.

1.3. Conduct needs analyses with service units, including risk assessment, role descriptions, and continuity planning.

1.4. Oversee volunteer recruitment, registration, screening, and interviews.

1.5. Coordinate onboarding programs in collaboration with service units.

1.6. Develop and oversee volunteer training and capability development programs.

1.7. Lead volunteer evaluation sessions and organize appreciation events.

1.8. Ensure volunteer adherence to organizational guidelines, including the code of conduct.

2. Data management

2.1. Establish and maintain IT systems for efficient volunteer data management.

2.2. Oversee volunteer data tracking and analysis for impact evaluations.

3. Partnership Engagement

3.1. Lead engagement with internal and external partners to fulfill KKCS's volunteer needs.

3.2. Build and sustain a network of community partners to support KKCS services.

4. Other duties:

4.1. Fulfill any additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Centre Director.

Requirements

· Degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred.

· Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Social Service or similar settings.

· Volunteering experience in social service or healthcare sectors.

· Proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Skilled in written and verbal communication.

• Oversee the service of the Bar and maintain overall responsibility for beverage service throughout the Hotel.
• Plan and implement systems to maximize sales and revenue.
• Maintain low wastage levels through good stock management and rotation, accurate recording, training and active monitoring.
• Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ensure the bar area and behind the bar are kept clean and tidy at all times and in accordance to specified standards.

Requirements:

• Assist the management group in resolving operational concerns.
• Verifies compliance and efficacy of all company policies and procedures by reviewing and approving them.
• Assess the organizational structure of the company and offer suggestions to the managing director for ongoing enhancements to the productivity and efficacy of the organization.
• Promoting innovation, change, and ongoing development to support business prospects.
• To maintain profitability and competitiveness, implement and oversee yield control in every division.
• Assure adherence to corporate guidelines regarding bids and proposal costing.
• Manage the budget and staff to improve output within the organization and guarantee efficient succession planning.
• Provide leadership by informing and reassuring stakeholders of the company's strategic path.
• Review all departments every three months to make sure all goals are being reached.
• Work together with the Business Development team to establish a sales strategy that is effective, gaining an understanding of the factors that influence business and profit while making sure that it is in line with corporate goals.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the company through attending up to events and meetings as required.
