Key Responsibilities:As a Modernisation Sales Manager, you will:
- Drive sales growth for the modernization of elevators and escalators by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and architects, and develop tender strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Assess customer needs, provide appropriate product and service recommendations, and conduct preliminary design work with architects and contractors.
- Develop budgets and schedules for modernization projects, analyze market trends and competitor activities, and work with internal stakeholders to maximize sales and profitability.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers, manage customer feedback and issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve and exceed the company’s sales budgets and objectives, track and report on sales performance, and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, oversee their performance and development, and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
Entry Requirements:To be eligible for this role, you should:
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Have proven experience in sales, specifically within the lift (elevator and escalator) industry, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the industry.
- Exhibit excellent presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Possess strong analytical skills to assess market trends and competitors, and leadership skills to manage and develop a sales team.
- Be willing to travel across Singapore for job assignments.
