1. Assisting the Venue Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of the Theatre venues.
2. Liaising with the landlord’s operational team
3. To assist in administrative matters pertaining to the Venue’s licensing and regulatory requirements.
4. Consolidation of ushers' work hours for payment processing.
5. Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise a diverse group of ushers to provide efficient and friendly customer service to guests.
6. Assist with the Theatre Bar operations to maximize profits and service, including product selection, ordering stock, appearance and displays, bar set up, signage, and inventory controls.
7. Evaluate and coordinate integration of new technology applications as needed and required.
8. Scheduling of Front-of-House ushers in a budget conscious manner.
9. Oversee Venue Front-of-House set-up, including but not limited to crowd control and signage

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Relevant Polytechnic diploma in Arts Management, hospitality or related field

- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service, facilities management and/or venue operations, preferably in a theatre performing arts environment, inclusive of supervisory experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

· Work with client service teams to build client relationships, understand clients’ needs, identify opportunities and value propositions

· Establish business contacts and information gathering channels including client database for the collation and broadcast of market/client intelligence to the various client service teams

· Participate in the production of strategic communications and marketing materials
