ISAP/ITS Department Overview

ISAP IT Production Centre is an offshore delivery center managing IT Operations (RUN) for Paris, London and Asia. With over 250 people, it constitutes one of two main hubs for CA-CIB IT production teams. This setup is operated in partnership with a Service Provider, who provides most resources on site.

Position

Job Description:

We are seeking an adaptable and fast learner who can embrace fast changing situations in a start-up to be their Finance Manager. This role will report to the Co-founder / CEO while working closely with the multi-functional leadership team and other internal stakeholders. You will play a critical role in scaling their business in the region.

Responsibilities

· Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

· Work closely with third party accountant to maintain accurate financial record, maintain an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.

· Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department – governance and checks. Investigate means to improve profitability, execute changes to procedure, policies and systems to facilitate expansion (via growth matrix and KPI setting & tracking), compliance and scaling of the business.

· Lead planning and forecasting activities with multi-functional leadership team to achieve business and company goals

· Prepare annual budgets and track costs against budgets

· Prepare investor & board update cadence

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

· A degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum 5yrs of relevant experience ( 3yrs experience in an audit firm and 2 yrs commercial experience)

· Strong hands-on experience in corporate finance and financial reporting

· Proven track record in driving cost or financial reporting process improvement

· Strong organisational, numeracy and analytical skills

· A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills

· Entrepreneurial, collaborative and possess an openness to be experimental

· Proficiency in the Chinese language will be a plus

About the job

Plan, procure, implement, manage and/or support Application Systems under one or more Business Domains (e.g. Student Application and Admission), with the objective of fulfilling business needs and improving operational efficiencies of Business Departments using the Application Systems and/or solutions implemented.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management

• Lead market research and feasibility study
• Plan the project
• Procure the solution
• Project manage the implementation
• Facilitate transition to post-live support in order to ensure successful IT systems adoption at Business Departments to meet business objectives.

Business Operation & Support

• Provide on-going maintenance, upgrade and support of the business application systems
• Manage service delivery of vendors
• Support operation of the Business Departments (e.g. student application and admission process) in order to facilitate smooth and efficient running of the university processes and activities.

Enhance Existing Application Systems

• Identify areas of improvement
• Gather, prioritize and document business requirements
• Estimate and negotiate man-effort with vendors
• Lead/oversee the enhancements of business application systems
• Manage quality of deliverables and performance of vendors in order to ensure timely delivery of enhancements required to support business operational needs.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Certification in PMP or CITPM will be an added advantage.
• At least 8 years in IT industry, inclusive of 3+ years in a technical role, and 3+ years’ experience in project management
• Experience in managing projects with a budget of over $100k.
• Strong business process, analytical, systems and design thinking skills.
• Ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand the business questions that users are trying to answer is essential.
• Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, end users and vendors.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organised and positive attitude.
• Experience in Higher Education industry especially Student Application and Admission is a bonus.
• Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience of SDLC, RDBMS and SQL.
• Appreciation of cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities of the role

• Development of a digital vision in line with the PHC AMA business strategy and global PHC digital strategy, in partnership with PHC AMA GM, multi-functional PHC AMA LT and PHC global IT Leader.
• Development and delivery of a digital action plan supporting short-term and long-term PHC AMA business needs with clear business value articulation.
• Partnership with Global PHC IT, AMA IT, and corporate IT to leverage benefits of globally/regionally scaled solutions and enterprise platforms.
• Driving pilots and operationalizing IT/Data/AI capabilities for Sales, Digital Engagement with Consumers, and Media.
• Identification of new business optimization and productivity opportunities that require data/algorithms/digitization.
• Leading Digital & AI Upskilling for cross-functional PHC AMA organization.
• Developing a sustainable pipeline of IT talents and growing IT talents in PHC AMA organization across IT and A&I roles.
• Ownership of Digital Stewardship: Info-security, Data privacy, Application governance.

Qualifications

• Experience within IT at a senior level leading IT organization at the Category, Market or global service level.
• Experience working across functions like Marketing, Sales, Product Supply, R&D, and Finance and across business units.
• Experience working across platforms including, but not limited to: eCommerce, Direct to Consumer, Go To Market, Data and Analytics, Media, Supply Chain.
• Experience in leading transformation that positively disrupts and transforms business.
• Strategic business mindset focused on value delivery - demonstrated ability to create an inspiring vision and lead delivery of strategic transformation.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities – demonstrated ability to interact and lead in a multi-functional context and able to engage with broad leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and strong collaboration across a matrixed and globally dispersed organization to meet desired business objectives.
