Controllership (70%)

• Manage and oversee the entire full spectrum of accounting function, including GL, AP, and AR.
• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements, including all entities (VFT Singapore, VFT India, Liv Energy JV, VFT Africa).

• Reporting directly to the senior management, he/she will work closely with the senior management to ensure smooth running of all operational/administrative aspects of the center, including human resource, administrative and legal management.
• To monitor and review the division's performance throughout the year and to accomplish the relevant revenue and growth KPIs, and to identify and develop solutions to address performance inadequacies, where key operations and/or financial performance indicators are not in line with the budget or target set.
• Develop and implement operational policies, long and short term planning initiatives in accordance with company's objectives to drive revenue growth.
• Establish budgets, forecast, and general operating procedures and monitor cost control procedures. Engage and responsible for monthly financial reporting to senior management.

• Verify and review invoices before payment processing
• Ensure that invoices are properly recorded in the accounting system
• Ensure that payments and reimbursements are processed timely
• Monitor bank balances to ensure there are sufficient funds to meet future finance obligations
• Perform payment reconciliation for all payment methods
• Prepare monthly AP ageing report
• Reply to queries on payment related matters
• Prepare Sales Invoice
• Prepare collection report

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in related position
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform data entry and general administrative duties
• To serve walk-in customers
• Provide insurance quotations and process motor insurance applications, renewals, endorsements, cancellation and issuance of insurance documents
• Ensure proper documentation, records and filing upon issuance
• Manage emails and phone enquiries from customers and internal stakeholders
• Update and maintain accurate customer database

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree and above in any field
• General Insurance experience (with BCP, PGI and ComGI Cert) and navigation of insurance portals are an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records of all incoming payments

• Prepare and send invoices to clients

• Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices

• Reconcile any irregularities in receipts

• Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances

• Take charge of Petty cash and staff claims

• Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting

• Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed

• Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments
