You will ultimately hold responsibility as the Singapore regional logistics order to shipment, subject matter expert. Understanding and representing everything about spare parts order through successful customer shipment will be the focus of this role. Responsibilities

• Perform simple QS function to analyze cost comparison, prepare budget, evaluate and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors / vendors & implement cost control monitoring;
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off if necessary;
• Prepare Variation Orders, evaluate, recommend & settlement of sub-contractor / vendors’ payments claims & final accounts,
• Sourcing and negotiations with reliable and reputable vendors / suppliers;
• Prepare and Issue purchase orders / Work Orders/ Letter of Award in timely manner.
• Ensure the term contracts are to be renewed and bulk tender are called in timely manner;
• Manage daily procurement and contract requirements, maintain, monitor and update the procurement database / costing with budget;
• Perform prequalification of potential contractors, prepare tender documents, inviting and evaluating tenders, issuance of and award of tender;
• Work closely with the Property Management department on the procurement of goods and services required;
• Liaise closely with Finance for the monthly closing;
• Work closely with the team and relevant business partners to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
• Assist Management in all contractual and costing matters
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveying / procurement or supply chain management or equivalent;
• Minimum 2-3 years of related working experience;

Job Description

• Develop commodity strategy for mechanical / electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, modules, and commercial parts.
• Review commodity gaps and develop / drive implementation of new sources to close gap.
• Provide support to all business teams on materials and supply chain related to supplier capacity, schedule, deliveries, and costing.
• Provides management with regular recommendations / updates on commodity matrices performance & related commodity strategies moving forward.
• Sources for new suppliers, develop supplier strategy to meet cost, quality, technology, and delivery for all commodities.
• Plans and conducts regular business reviews with Key Suppliers to ensure aligned goals & business directions.
• Supports in resolving supplier quality problems and improve supplier manufacturing and business processes.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and drive key improvement matrices.

• Provides regionalization & risk mitigation input to ensure no delay / shortfall of material supplies.

Experience requirements

• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and competent in managing a highly Global energized cross cultured team.
• Strong sense and experienced in cost saving methodologies e.g. value engineering, logistics optimization, negotiation skill and collaboration.
• Cost Benchmarking, RFQ analysis and Make-Buy analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, technology, cost, commodity roadmaps and supply sources.
• Strong understanding of Contract law and contract drafting for different types of Product / Services.
• Strong commercial acumen and data presentation skills with an ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of SAP or Oracle including Purchase Order, Material Master, PIR, Contract management.
• Strong Analytic skill and process automation knowledge.
• Strong Decision-Making, project management & change management skills

Other Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in Global / Regional commodity management and procurement for Semiconductor or similar industries covering multiple regions / countries.
• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering

- Responsible for Home’s store and inventory including maintenance of equipments.

- Responsible for raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.

- Assist in contractor selections by gathering procurement specifications and tender bids received from supplier.

- Manage food catering vendors to ensure quality improvement and manage feedback from internal stakeholders.

> Assist in residents outing with care staff.
