Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Executive to join their Dry Cargo team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the operations of voyage and time charters, working closely with clients to ensure smooth shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and Coordinate Charters: Oversee the operations of voyage and time charters.

· Client Communication: Liaise with ship owners and charterers to ensure smooth voyage operations.

· Claims and Demurrage: Manage and resolve claims, including handling demurrage issues.

· Charter Documentation: Prepare and draw up charter party agreements.

Responsibilities:

Incumbent will be in charge of mainly 3 entities

• Responsible for General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset and Inventory functions
• Prepare and post journal entries during month end financial close
• Perform variance and trend analysis at entity level
• Responsible for month end closing, yearly financial closing and quarterly reporting
• Correspond and resolve operational issues with various other departments
• Prepare balance sheet schedules
• Prepare quarterly GST submission and attend external bodies enquiries

Job Requirements:

Reporting to a team lead, this role is to support day to day billing operations and projects in inter-operators billing.

• Perform daily/monthly reconciliation for system operations
• Perform bill verification received from Partners

Your main job duties and responsibilities as a Portfolio Executive include but are not limited to the following:

• Organize and plan the day-to-day operations of all the managed sites
• Lead and supervise the site staff and term contractors
• Inspect buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely
• Solicit and analyze quotations from contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance works

• Work with site staff and be responsible for all the managed estates in terms of Structural Aspects and Safety, Electrical Installation and Plumbing Works and ensure compliance with building statutory requirements
• Responsible for all managed sites’ Addition & Alteration as well as Repair & Redecoration projects
• Liaise with insurance carriers, fire and police departments, government authorities, statutory boards, lawyers, auditors etc on matters relating to building requirement compliance, management and maintenance
• To be responsible for other essential services and functions ranging from administrative, operations to finances relating to building management
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager/Management
