Position Overview
As a People Operations Strategist, you will drive the optimization and execution of our people processes, policies, and employee experience initiatives globally. You’ll partner with Global leadership to align HR operations with the company’s strategic goals and create a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. Your role focuses on leveraging data, technology, and best practices to elevate people operations while fostering a positive and productive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
People Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement strategies that support business goals and foster employee success.
- Identify and address operational challenges within HR processes, recommending improvements based on data-driven insights.
Process Optimization:
- Streamline HR processes such as onboarding, performance management, and offboarding to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Introduce innovative tools, automation, and technology solutions to improve people operations workflow.
Data and Analytics:
- Utilize people analytics to track key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee engagement, retention) and generate actionable insights.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to inform people decisions and support business strategy.
Employee Experience:
- Lead initiatives to enhance the employee experience, focusing on employee engagement, well-being, and career growth.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the workplace environment supports inclusion, belonging, and productivity.
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with labor laws and regulations for APAC.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, adapting policies as needed.
Talent Development and Retention:
- Partner with the Learning & Development team to create programs that support employee growth, performance, and career development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance talent retention, including feedback mechanisms, development opportunities, and recognition programs.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Support DEI strategies by fostering an inclusive culture and aligning HR practices with diversity and equity goals.
- Analyze and report on DEI metrics to continuously improve organizational inclusivity.
- Drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) recruitment strategies, with a focus on expanding talent pools, including neurodiverse candidates and veterans.
Change Management:
- Lead and manage change initiatives related to people operations, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across the organization.
- Act as a change champion, promoting adaptability and continuous improvement in people practices.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead talent acquisition strategies for specialized skills including Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and other niche technologies across APAC.
- Implement data-driven recruitment practices to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in People Operations with a focus on strategy and process improvement across APAC in multiple countries.
· Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition, HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations for APAC with emphasis on Australia labor laws.
· Experience with HR analytics, data interpretation, and providing strategic insights.
· Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
· Proficiency in HR software (HRIS), automation tools, and employee engagement platforms.
