The incumbent will involve gathering detailed requirements, managing projects, and ensuring the successful deployment of software solutions to users. You'll support the team in managing multiple projects, translating business needs into user stories, and facilitating effective communication with IT and development teams. Additionally, you'll assist the Business Transformation Head in overseeing program management and executing key milestones across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users to capture detailed requirements and user stories.
- Communication: Effectively relay requirements to the IT and development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables before deployment.
- Process Understanding: Analyze and understand business processes and workflows to drive successful implementation of product and process improvements.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource needs, to achieve project goals within set deadlines.
- Budget Management: Monitor project hours against budget and update forecasts for any changes in scope.
- Problem-Solving: Apply analytical thinking and proven methodologies to resolve project challenges creatively.
- Executive Reporting: Support the Business Transformation Head with weekly progress reports, proposals, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Science, or related fields
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (mandatory).
- PMP and/or Prince2 certification (preferred).
- 4+ years in Agile Scrum projects, ideally in the container shipping industry.
- Proven track record in managing software transformation and process re-engineering projects.
- Strong project management skills, including on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
