Role Purpose
Maintenance & Repair is a function within Logistic, the main objectives will be good managing of the maintenance and repair of our empty containers with an optimization of costs and quality. Good coordination with Equipment flow, Regional Managers, offices, SVM, Surveyors, vendors and Depots for operational and logistic efficiency and cost effectiveness.
The role of M&R Executive is to plan, schedules surveying and managing CMR system associated with M&R activities globally managing container fleet size estimation 70,000 teus efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Role Accountabilities
· Good managing of the maintenance and repair processes and cycles within the group to ensure that cost efficiency without compromising safety requirements and quality.
· Work cohesively with In-service depots, 3rd party surveys and leasing co. to achieve M&R cycle, repair cost target and joint surveys disputes.
· Manage the M&R budget in line with agreed targets and continue to look for cost reduction opportunities.
· Regular analyses of data to monitor performance and find improvement areas.
· Perform regular depot audits to ensure equipment integrity and standards are being compliance.
· Prepare monthly reporting on M&R costs and initiate measures to improve CMR activities.
· Investigate and identify 3rd Party Claims aka TPC in related to recover damages repair cost from liable party involving Marketing Team & Agency.
· Review and make proposal to enhance M&R inspection and repair criteria on SWIRE equipment.
· Develop an interactive cost performance report to measure M&R performance in the areas of equipment age profile, Logistic movement, IN/OFF hire costs performance.
· Identify and support new M&R CMR system platform for better integrate with all vendors, SVM IT team and SWIRE users.
· Supervising the M&R activities including Health, Safety & Environmental audit schedules.
· Undertake adhoc projects related to cost analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
· In-service audit approval in CMR system
· Travel overseas spot audit depots.

· Challenging and stopping unsafe acts and behaviours or unsafe conditions.
· Comply with the Global Safety Standards, Polices and Operating Procedures.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
· ‘O’ Level / ‘A’ Level / Diploma / Degree in Technical stream or Logistics & Supply Chain.
· Min 10 years of working experience.
· Preferred to have shipping background.
· Able to work independently and complete task assigned within the timeframe.
· Analytical thinking.
Technical Skills
· IICL certification.
Professional Skills
· Detail-oriented with strong data analytics, reporting, financial literacy, and strong communication skills.
· Thorough knowledge of MS Office, Power BI and PowerPoint and experience in managing databases.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
· A good team player who can collaborate well with various internal stakeholders globally.
