This role requires a proactive approach to identifying unsafe conditions and recommending corrective actions to promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise occupiers, project managers, engineers, and other personnel on safety and health measures to be implemented on-site.
• Provide guidance on compliance with local and national health and safety regulations.
• Monitor the overall safety performance of the project, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices, reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze safety performance trends and data to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present safety performance reports to management, highlighting trends and areas of concern.
• Recommend corrective actions to address identified safety issues and implement improvements.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure that corrective measures are executed effectively.
• Conduct safety training and workshops for site personnel to promote a culture of safety.
• Develop and distribute safety materials and resources to enhance awareness of safety practices.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and report to management as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health or related fields.
• Proven experience in a safety role within the construction or electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and procedures.
• Proficient in safety monitoring and reporting software.
