GENERAL SUMMARY

Reports to the Partnerships Director, and is responsible for securing new funding/ donations to ensure HCSA programmes’ sustainability through corporate sponsorships for our signature fundraising campaigns and iniatives. The purpose of this role is fundraising through donor acquisition and retention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising

· Be responsible for significant personal target as part of overall team fundraising target

· Work with the Director to develop strategies to identify and source suitable partners, develop inspirational pitches that attract sponsorship and collaboration with the goal to convert leads into long-term sustainable partnerships

· Shape convincing narratives together with Director to prepare compelling proposals and appeals for donors for HCSA’s signature fundraising campaigns and initiatives

· Prepare and deliver pitches and proposals for donors’ sponsorship and collaboration

· Provide timely support to the Partnerships team in all fundraising initiatives and events

New Donors Engagement

· Develop corporate donors recruitment and retention strategy

· Maintain and enhance relationships with them through regular engagements and connectivity for retention

· Working with the team to evaluate, enhance and implement donor management policies and processes (e.g. onboarding, development, recognition, engagement)

Others

• Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other community stakeholders, corporate partners and government agencies

• Identify emerging approaches in donor management and evaluate, giving trends and impact which will value add to the donors, engagement strategies and approaches

• Administrative duties that comes with the role (for example, but not limited to: conducting post-event feedback, preparation of reports for internal and external reporting, updating, tracking and evaluation of donors and their data etc)

• Perform additional duties as required by the nature of the position or as assigned by the Director

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Diploma/ Degree with minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, sales or business development

• A self-starter who can work independently while also being an effective team player.

• Good collaborative and stakeholder management skills to work across disciplines and sectors (i.e. SSAs, community stakeholders, corporate partners, government agencies)

• Stakeholder management, strategic work, resource management and/or project management

1. Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Analyze & watch Sourcing Asian market capacities and opportunities in Food and SES

• Liaise and build strong network with Global and regional Supply Management teams to identify requirements and Asian sourcing opportunities as per their categories’ guidelines

• Roll out (and/or manage in coordination with Regional and/or Global based teams) sourcing tenders, negotiations and benchmarks

• Act as the supplier liaison for future Global Tenders involving suppliers based in APAC Region

• Coordinate and Contribute to the Sodexo Better Tomorrow Plan In APAC (Supply Management Responsible Sourcing Plan)

- Contribute to the definition of Responsible Sourcing Regional Objectives

Profile / experience, competencies and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

• Significant experience in Asian Sourcing (Food, Near Food, Consumables), end-to-end supply chain process

• International exposure and ability to work in a multicultural environment

• Ability to work on complex procurement problems and provide innovative solutions

• Knowledge on quality assurance, CSR, logistic (shipment, customs..)

• Effective leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to drive cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization

• Good negotiation skills as well as sales, verbal and written communication, presentation and networking skills

• Strategic vision and tactical capabilities

• Good financial data management and analytical skills (TCO, cost breakdown benchmark), problem solving and reporting

• Continuous improvement mind set and methodology

• Fluency in English. An additional Asian language would be an advantage.

• Coordinate Regional savings Initiatives

- Coordinate with Global/Regional Operation Account directors and Supply Management country teams on Regional savings initiatives,

· Support To Global Uniforms Category

- Support the Local SM teams by raising the uniforms/shoes orders (4M USD annually) and manage the supply from production to delivery to destination

- Liaise with the global factories to book the production capacity, manage the raw material stock and prioritize the garment shipments

- Closely work with the regional/local distributors to estimate the needs and forecast

- Be involved in Global projects to optimize the supply chain generating savings and reducing lead-time

· Eventually and when necessary, connect with Global and Regional logistic teams to ensure optimum route to supply

- Manage and / or track customs and logistics processes

- Container maximization

- Shipping contracts

- Interact with Importers / Distributors

· Eventually Liaise with Global / Regional Quality Managers

- Ensure factories Corporate Social Responsibility compliance

- Technical and Ethical audits

· Liaise with the Group Finance and Legal Management teams:

- Participate in the calendar year reconciliation process

Accounts

• Support duties related to accounts receivable functions
• Taking customers orders and inputing sales orders and invoices into the system
• Keep track of outstanding invoice & follow up for payment
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
• Assist in month-end closing bank recon & expenses reports
• Maintaining client relations.
• Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.

Customer Service

• Attend to customers who call-in with enquires and request for quotations, or directing them to the appropriate sales person

• Update inventory records, customers’ sales records and price change information

About the Strategic Communications Unit (SCU)

The Strategic Communications Unit (SCU) is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering timely, clear, concise, and effective messaging and communication strategies to enhance the corporate profile of SNEF and promulgate SNEF’s key messages across all media platforms.

The SCU produces and disseminates information, messages and publications to relevant stakeholder groups through internal and external communication and works to raise the profile of SNEF internally and externally through the development of communication and media strategies that promote the mission of SNEF. The SCU will reside as a dedicated unit under the Policy Division helmed by the Head (Strategic Communications).

Job Description:

• Media specialist
• Develop integrated communication plans for SNEF’s events and announcements
• Draft, edit and distribute communications materials such as speeches, press releases, talking points and information sheets that promotes the effective communication of SNEF’s messages and programmes to enhance the understanding of SNEF’s work and mission
• Pitch stories, manage media queries and interview requests
• Support the coordination and implementation of crisis comms strategy
• Monitor, analysis and prepare report on the impact of communications activities, reports on developments, trends and attitudes on issues of concern to SNEF
• Build and leverage on existing media relationships, as well as cultivate new contacts with mainstream, online, business and industry media partners
